Datsun has announced that it will start taking pre-orders for the 2018 Go and the Go+. And customers can book them by paying a booking amount of Rs 11,000. What’s new in the updated Go and the Go+, you ask?
Well, other than the two new paint schemes – Amber Orange and Sunstone – there are no changes. Ahem.
Mechanically, they remain the same as the current cars. The 1,200cc, petrol motor churns out 67bhp/104Nm and is paired to a five-speed manual transmission. In terms of features, they get a Bluetooth audio system, air-condition, follow-me-home headlamps, child lock, and engine immobilizer. Apart from these, the carmaker may also bring some additional goodies along with the updated models.
Currently, the Datsun Go starts at Rs 3.38 lakh and the Go+ starts at Rs 3.95 lakh, but for the 2018 version, expect the prices to be a tad higher than the previous models as a few months back, the manufacturer had announced a price hike across the range.
